It seems that Multiversus is focusing more than ever on the Multiplayer mode 2v2 . In fact, a recent filtration reveals that players canshare their progress from the battle pass. *
A partner of the battle pass
The Dataminer Aisulmv shared information about his finding through his Twitter account. We can see screenshots of a system designed to allow two Multiversus players to link their accounts.
The first image shows a menu in the game with the title Find a battle pass companion . It seems to be a form of Search the name of a player and then be able to invite him to link the two accounts .
The second image is a new menu entitled Request battle pass link , which mentions the ability to conquer the Multiversus battlefield faster, while comparing rewards.
The first point indicates that linked players contribute XP to the same battle pass. The second point indicates that If one of the players has a premium battle pass, players will share their progress in it. The third point indicates that Mission and XP rewards are always granted to both players. *
two is better
Then, screen catches suggest that two Multiversus players could share a battle pass, doubleing their XP earnings. The XP rewards obtained by both players by completing missions will go to the same progress bar. As players rise level, both get rewards.
In addition, although somewhat ambiguous, it is possible that only one player has to pay for the premium version of the battle pass.
With this mechanics, it would seem that Player First Games fosters the team game of two people in Multiversus.
And then, winning faster rewards will encourage both Multiversus players to play more often, which will keep the base of players in operation.
However, be careful, if Aisulmv seems to say that this information is not new, has not been confirmed or denied by Player First Games, so it must be taken cautiously.
Multiversus is now available in open beta version for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
