Ubisoft + allows players to access more than 100 of the editor games, and the service will arrive at the Xbox consoles! Unfortunately, there has not been any announcement on a launch date or how the service will work on the platform. The PC version currently costs $14.99 per month, while the multiplatform version costs $17.99. The latest version allows players to access Ubisoft + through Stadia and Luna, but it has not been confirmed if it will be as can be accessed in the Xbox platforms. With luck, more information will be provided in the near future.
Ubisoft revealed the service for Xbox along with the news that Extraction of Rainbow Six will be available at Xbox Game Pass for console and PC on the launch day. The ad can be found on the Tweet embedded below.
In a tracking Tweet, Ubisoft confirmed that Ubisoft + will be available as a separate subscription, not as part of Xbox Game Pass. It was speculated that the service could be included with Game Pass (as we have seen with EA PLAY), but that will not be the case.
It will be interesting to see if Xbox fanatics are willing to pay for a separate game service in addition to Game Pass! For Ubisoft fanatics, service is a good business, especially because it offers games on the day of the launch. If that price of $17.99 ends up being the cost of an Xbox subscription, it would take more than three months to match the price of a $60 game. That without counting the fact that Ubisoft + includes things like DLC and seasonal passes. Some players will continue to prefer to buy games directly, instead of paying for another subscription service, but the owners of Xbox should be happy to have the option available for them!
At the time of writing these lines, the Library of Ubisoft + already has an impressive amount of games. Titles such as riders Republic, Immortals Deny Rising, transfer, and Assassin's Creed Origins are available through the service. Readers interested in seeing what else offers Ubisoft + can get more information. Right here.
